Palmfox low-pressure insulation gasket kits have a great sealing and insulating design for all types of flanges. The sealing elements are embedded in a specially designed groove to prevent breaking when the bolt torque is uneven. The options for various working conditions are increased by the ability to use insulation gasket materials like Teflon/PTFE, Nitrile, EPDM, VITON, and Nitrile as sealing elements. |
The Palmfox low-pressure insulation kit is available in both full-face (Type E) and ring-style (Type F) configurations. This Palmfox I.Ks is used for almost all hydrocarbon and water service applications depending on the sealing element chosen.
When selecting a material, it is important to take into account both the temperature limit of the sealing element and the retainer.
For the temperature range and material compatibilities of the sealing gasket, refer to the chart.
